What will The Mad Hatter do for my party?

We prepare the most amazingly fabulous tea party for you and your guests. Tables are set with ivory linens and an eclectic variety of china, fresh flowers and beautiful glass candle tea warmers and fancy sugar cubes with gold tongs, an extra table for guests to set gifts, a card box, photos, etc., plus custom menus with your Guest of Honor's name(s) and the date of your special occasion.

What do I need to do for my party?

  1. Send out invitations to your guests
  2. Encourage your guests to come dressed for a tea party in fancy dresses, hats, pearls, etc.
  3. Instruct your guests to arrive in a timely manner
  4. Require your guests to RSVP to you! Then, get an estimated count to The Mad Hatter a minimum of 7 days in advance, and a final guest count a minimum of 48 hours in advance; You will be charged for the number of guests confirmed in your final count

Available Tuesday through Friday, times vary (please note preference in your request form)
Saturday and Sunday between 5:00pm & 7:00pm

Our Queen of Hearts Party Package includes:

  • Party host(s), fresh flowers on each table, ivory cloth linens, an eclectic variety of china for tea service, tea party fare (scones, finger sandwiches, desserts), unlimited tea & room rental.
  • The menu for your party will be the same as our current Queen of Hearts Tea Service menu (listed below)
  • Soup or Salad course is available at market rate. *Please note this must be arranged with your party planner in advance
  • Beer & Wine list, Mimosas, Bubbly & Sangria available at additional cost

Other things to know:

  • 50% deposit due minimum 30 days in advance, non-refundable. Deposits may be made via phone with a credit card, a check in the mail, or in person
  • Host may arrive 15 minutes prior to party time
  • Your party will begin promptly 15 minutes after scheduled time
  • Private Parties are booked for 2 hours. There is a $25 fee per 15 minutes overtime

Gluten-Free menu available for additional $10 per gluten-free guest. Vegetarian Menu available at no additional cost. For more information regarding Dietary Restrictions, please click here. Please note that this is a pre-set menu; there are no substitutions. There is not a separate menu for children. Please be sure to notify The Mad Hatter (at 763.422.4160) of any Vegetarian and/or Gluten-Free guests a minimum of 48 hours prior to your reservation.
